As sad as it may be, coming up with daily blog content isn't the hardest part of this year-long blogging adventure. Instead, I find that I'm constantly stumped on monthly prizes to give away as a "thank you" to you guys for sticking with me through this. So once again I'm turning to you guys to let me know what you'd prefer. I'll be doing a Facebook poll for this, so if you didn't see this on Facebook then scroll down to the entry for May 3rd.
Without further ado, here are my 3 choices for this months' prize giveaway:
- Dice. I did these last month and they seemed to be my most popular giveaway yet. My buddy Fritz originally told me to do this because "everybody loves dice." I thought he was nuts, but that's what I get for still being a wargaming greenhorn. Rather than do dice for a specific game system I thought about letting you choose dice up to a certain dollar amount from Miniature Market.
- Gift Card. Boring but popular. I think my last gift card giveaway would have gone better had I advertised it better. I'm a big fan of Miniature Market, so that's probably going to be my go-to unless someone can suggest some awesome company with a good $10-15 item.
- Custom Terrain. I'm long overdue on making some terrain. The winner wouldn't get anything spectacular, but everyone likes to get a new piece of terrain right? I'm going to be investing in a foam cutter soon, so I'm sure the terrain bug will bite me soon. If all else fails I know a guy who makes some really nice molds of walls and Warmachine objective markers, so I could buy and paint some of those.
So that's what I'm thinking so far. What do you guys think would be the most exciting for you?
Also, now that we've hit 50+ likes on Facebook I'm ready to get greedy and shoot for 100. To that end, the giveaway prize for hitting 100 likes will be a fully painted starter box of the winner's choice (price limit to be determined later). I like the idea of choosing from MM. One can never have to many dice.
